Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys to establish legal property boundaries based on deeds and titles.
- Record survey results including shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land features.
- Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and terrain characteristics.
- Prepare and supervise preparation of data, charts, plots, maps, records, and other survey-related documents.
- Write detailed property boundary descriptions for use in deeds, leases, or legal documents.
- Plan and conduct ground surveys for baselines, elevations, and geodetic measurements.
- Search legal and survey records and land titles to obtain information for surveying tasks.
- Coordinate findings with engineering, architectural teams, clients, and other project stakeholders.
- Establish fixed points using geodetic and engineering instruments and determine longitudes and latitudes using theodolites, levels, and GPS.
- Train and supervise assistants and helpers in survey and drafting tasks.
- Analyze survey objectives and specifications to prepare proposals or direct proposal preparation.
- Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data to determine positions, shapes, and elevations.
- Develop criteria for survey methods, procedures, and instrument design or modification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in land surveying or related civil/construction projects.
- Preferably 1 – 2 years of experience in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural.
- Strong knowledge of survey instruments, GPS, and mapping techniques.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to be assigned at Batangas Projects.
