Job summary

WebBeds, a leader in travel distribution, seeks a Head of Sourcing to lead a dynamic Market Manager team, driving commercial performance through strategic supplier partnerships and hotel contracting. You will oversee the contracting portfolio, ensuring competitive pricing, timely renewals and alignment with market demands.

You will also shape the product offering, accelerate revenue growth and represent the company at industry events to secure peak inventory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in travel, hospitality or B2B distribution.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Hospitality or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the B2B travel industry and online booking platforms.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical skills with a strategic approach and focus on delivering results.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Customer focus with the ability to anticipate and solve problems.
• Planning and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Market Managers to hit commercial objectives and support business expansion.
• Define KPIs, conduct performance reviews and give actionable feedback.
• Lead market trip planning, set targets and evaluate outcomes.
• Negotiate hotel contracts, secure rates and manage renewals and new agreements.
• Build senior-level relationships with hotel chains and partners aligned to strategic goals.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and resolve service-level issues promptly.
• Monitor market trends and collaborate with regional teams to identify cross-market opportunities.
• Represent WebBeds at trade shows and events to secure inventory for peak travel periods.
• Partner with Key Accounts and Operations for seamless execution and issue resolution.
• Ensure contracts and hotel data are loaded into internal systems and CRM, and report metrics to APAC leadership.

As a Head of Sourcing, you will lead a dynamic team of Market Managers, driving commercial performance through strategic supplier partnerships and strong hotel contracting. You will oversee the contracting portfolio, ensuring competitive pricing, timely renewals and alignment with changing market demands. As a key contributor to the success of our FIT business, you will also play a central role in enhancing our product offering and accelerating revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

In This Role You Will

• Team leadership: Inspire, lead and develop a team of Market Managers to achieve commercial objectives, and recruit and onboard talent to support business expansion.
• Performance management: Define and implement KPIs aligned with company strategy, conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Market trip planning: Lead pre- and post-trip briefings, set clear targets and evaluate outcomes.
• Hotel contracting: Negotiate and secure competitive rates and allocations with hotels, manage annual contract renewals and initiate new agreements.
• Strategic partnerships: Build and maintain senior-level relationships with hotel chains and key partners, and identify and onboard preferred hotel partners aligned with strategic goals.
• Supplier performance: Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to optimise performance, and resolve supplier service-level issues promptly and effectively.
• Market insight: Monitor market trends and customer needs to refine contracting strategies, and collaborate with regional teams to identify cross-market opportunities.
• Industry presence and peak inventory: Represent WebBeds at trade shows, workshops and industry events to strengthen supplier networks, maintain an active events calendar and proactively secure inventory for peak travel periods.
• Cross-functional execution: Partner with Key Accounts and Operations to ensure seamless execution and issue resolution.
• Systems, data and reporting: Ensure contracted products are loaded into internal systems and CRM accurately and on time, oversee the accuracy of hotel and contact databases, and track and report performance metrics, risks and opportunities to APAC leadership.
