Job summary

WebBeds seeks a Head of Sourcing to lead a team of Market Managers and drive commercial performance through strategic supplier partnerships and hotel contracting. You will oversee the contracting portfolio, ensure competitive pricing, timely renewals and alignment with market demands.

As a key contributor to our FIT business, you will also play a central role in enhancing our product offering and accelerating revenue growth.

Qualifications

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in travel, hospitality or B2B distribution.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Hospitality or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the B2B travel industry and online booking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Market Managers to achieve commercial objectives.
• Define and implement KPIs, conduct performance reviews and give actionable feedback.
• Plan market trips, set targets and evaluate outcomes.
• Negotiate and secure competitive hotel rates and allocations; manage renewals.
• Build senior-level partnerships with hotel chains and key partners.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and resolve service issues.
• Monitor market trends to refine contracting strategies and identify opportunities.
• Represent WebBeds at industry events and secure inventory for peak periods.
• Collaborate with Key Accounts and Operations for seamless execution.
• Ensure accurate data in internal systems and CRM; track performance metrics and risks.

As a Head of Sourcing, you will lead a dynamic team of Market Managers, driving commercial performance through strategic supplier partnerships and strong hotel contracting. You will oversee the contracting portfolio, ensuring competitive pricing, timely renewals and alignment with changing market demands.

As a key contributor to the success of our FIT business, you will also play a central role in enhancing our product offering and accelerating revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Team leadership: Inspire, lead and develop a team of Market Managers to achieve commercial objectives, and recruit and onboard talent to support business expansion.
• Performance management: Define and implement KPIs aligned with company strategy, conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Market trip planning: Lead pre- and post-trip briefings, set clear targets and evaluate outcomes.
• Hotel contracting: Negotiate and secure competitive rates and allocations with hotels, manage annual contract renewals and initiate new agreements.
• Strategic partnerships: Build and maintain senior-level relationships with hotel chains and key partners, and identify and onboard preferred hotel partners aligned with strategic goals.
• Supplier performance: Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to optimise performance, and resolve supplier service-level issues promptly and effectively.
• Market insight: Monitor market trends and customer needs to refine contracting strategies, and collaborate with regional teams to identify cross-market opportunities.
• Industry presence and peak inventory: Represent WebBeds at trade shows, workshops and industry events to strengthen supplier networks, maintain an active events calendar and proactively secure inventory for peak travel periods.
• Cross-functional execution: Partner with Key Accounts and Operations to ensure seamless execution and issue resolution.
• Systems, data and reporting: Ensure contracted products are loaded into internal systems and CRM accurately and on time, oversee the accuracy of hotel and contact databases, and track and report performance metrics, risks and opportunities to APAC leadership.
