Job summary

Coins, the leading crypto brand, is seeking a senior Business Development leader in the Philippines. You will shape the payments BD strategy, drive merchant growth, and build strategic alliances across the ecosystem.

You will lead a cross-functional team to expand market share, negotiate commercial terms, and oversee onboarding and growth with product, operations, legal, and marketing. A strong track record in fintech sales and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
• Strong understanding of the digital payments ecosystem
• Proven success in leading sales teams and driving market expansion
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall B2B development strategy for payments, focused on merchant acquisition and revenue growth
• Identify new market opportunities and build a pipeline of high-potential merchant and enterprise clients
• Establish strategic partnerships with merchants, payment aggregators, and ecosystem players
• Lead negotiations on commercial terms, including merchant discount rates (MDRs) and SLAs
• Build and manage a high-performing BD team, setting targets and coaching team members to exceed KPIs
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Legal, and Marketing for onboarding and account growth
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to refine GTM strategies
• Represent the company in external meetings, industry events, and partner engagements
