Job summary

AECOM in the Philippines is seeking an Associate Director, Overhead Line Engineering to lead technical direction and governance for HV/EHV overhead line projects. You will collaborate with international teams, mentor engineers, and oversee design reviews across the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong expertise in routing, sag-tension, clearances, and conductor selection, with demonstrated leadership across feasibility through construction support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Power, Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Significant overhead line experience in T&D projects.
• Strong expertise in routing, sag-tension, clearances, conductor selection and design assurance.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD or equivalent tools.
• Experience across project phases from feasibility to construction support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and governance for overhead line projects within the Philippines T&D team.
• Lead design reviews and engineering assurance activities for HV/EHV projects (up to 400 kV).
• Coordinate with subsystems and global teams to ensure high-quality outputs and timely delivery.
• Mentor engineers, support recruitment and upskilling, and promote quality culture.
