Job summary

Aurecon Group in the Philippines seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and engineering of transmission line projects at 132kV and above, guiding the full lifecycle from concept to detailed design and execution.

You will collaborate with offshore teams across time zones, review technical documentation, ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand codes, mentor junior engineers, and maintain strong client relationships while applying the latest electrical engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience in electrical engineering focused on successful execution of the electrical engineering discipline within transmission lines.
• Proven experience designing transmission lines rated higher than 132kV.
• Demonstrable experience working with offshore designers, coordinating across different time zones and cultures.
• Familiarity with Australian and New Zealand electrical codes and practices is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of transmission line projects at 132kV and above.
• Engage in all phases of the project lifecycle, from concept to detailed design and execution.
• Collaborate effectively with offshore engineering teams, ensuring seamless project progression and adherence to quality standards.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes, particularly within the Australian and New Zealand markets.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members, building strong relationships.
• Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and methodologies.
