Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director, Overhead Line Engineering to join its Philippines Transmission & Distribution capability. You will provide technical direction, design oversight, and mentoring across HV/EHV overhead line projects, typically up to 400 kV, working with international teams and clients.

The role covers feasibility to construction support, routing, sag-tension, PLS-CADD modeling, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Power, Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Significant overhead line experience in T&D projects.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD or equivalent tools.
• Experience across project phases (feasibility to construction support).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and governance for overhead lines within the Philippines T&D team.
• Lead design reviews, engineering assurance activities and problem-solving support.
• Coordinate with substations, civil, structural, geotechnical, and system disciplines.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to recruitment and upskilling.
