Job summary

PA Logistics Group seeks a seasoned freight accountant to design and run the financial infrastructure for our growing operations. You will own cash flow reporting, multi-entity close, forecasting, and tie data from our TMS into the books.

We value a CPA, 10+ years in freight accounting, and a meticulous eye for detail. You’ll build scalable processes and drive the company toward its mission of rapid, controlled growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience.
• Freight, logistics, or transportation accounting experience required.
• Track record of building or overhauling reporting, close, or forecasting processes.
• Multi-entity accounting experience.
• Bachelor's in accounting or finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel expertise.
• Extremely detail-oriented; numbers must tie out.
• Ability to explain numbers in plain English and push back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Design cash flow reporting from the ground up and determine what to track.
• Structure AP/AR across both entities with verification controls.
• Build forecasting and cash flow projection models tied to freight volume.
• Own monthly close, reporting, reconciliations, and audit prep.
• Integrate accounting into the TMS/operating platform and automate workflows.
