Job summary

Billease Bank is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to lead the enterprise risk management program across credit, operational, fraud, liquidity and IT risks. The CRO will report to the Risk Oversight Committee and maintain independence from revenue units while engaging with executive decisions.

The role requires 12–15 years in risk management, with at least 5 years in senior roles, and BSP supervision familiarity. A BSP-fit and proper rule compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in finance, economics, accounting or risk management.
• Masters or professional risk credentials are a plus.
• Progressive risk-management experience in banking recommended.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and periodically review the ERM framework and risk policies.
• Provide independent risk opinions to the Risk Oversight Committee and Board.
• Lead and develop risk officers for operational, credit, and IT risk pillars.
• Oversee risk governance, including KRIs and reporting cadence.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Internal Audit, Data Protection to maintain three-lines-of-defense.
