Job summary

Private Advertiser in Metro Manila seeks a Chief Risk Officer responsible for the Bank's Enterprise Risk Management framework across credit, operational, fraud, liquidity and IT/technology risks. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Risk Management or related field.
• 12–15 years of progressive risk management experience, incl. 5+ years in senior/head-of-risk role in a bank or BSP-supervised institution.
• Experience presenting to a Board-level risk committee and exposure to BSP examinations or supervisory engagement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and review the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and risk policies for endorsement by the Risk Oversight Committee and Board.
• Provide independent, evidence-based risk opinions to the Committee, Board, and CEO on strategic initiatives and material decisions.
• Lead and develop risk pillars (Credit, Operational, IT) with documented methodologies, monitoring, and reporting cadences.
• Oversee risk policies and programs across credit risk, operational risk, and IT/technology risk.
• Design and monitor KRIs across risk categories and drive mitigation actions.
• Prepare and present periodic risk reports to the Committee and Board; coordinate with BSP examinations and regulatory inquiries.
• Maintain a three-lines-of-defense model in collaboration with Compliance, Internal Audit, and Data Protection.
• Build risk capability and a risk-aware culture through training and awareness across the organization.
