Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years in engineering leadership or management.
• Experience delivering marketplace, CRM, SaaS, or enterprise platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and modern web architecture.
• Understanding of software security, DevOps, QA, and production operations.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver against business commitments.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Role Summary

Crown Cloud AI Limited is looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead the company’s technology strategy, digital platforms, products, and engineering operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the engineering team, establishing engineering standards, and ensuring that all technology solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, high-performing, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete engineering team across platform delivery.
• Define the platform’s long-term technical strategy and engineering roadmap.
• Work closely with the operations manager, Business Analyst, Technical Lead, and company leadership.
• Approve architecture, technology stacks, engineering standards, and major technical decisions.
• Plan engineering resources, development capacity, dependencies, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor engineering performance, delivery risks, technical debt, and product quality.
• Establish coding, documentation, security, testing, and release-management standards.
• Support technical recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and team development.
• Ensure the platform meets scalability, performance, availability, and data-protection requirements.
• Report technical progress, risks, and key technical decisions to company leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in an engineering leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and modern web architecture.
• Experience delivering marketplace, CRM, SaaS, or enterprise software platforms.
• Strong understanding of software security, DevOps, quality assurance, and production operations.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering projects against business commitments.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Contract Conditions

This is a full-time, one-year fixed-term contract. Continuation may be considered based on performance and business needs.
