Job summary

Publicis Groupe’s Performics India unit seeks a Director – E-Commerce to lead and scale our E‑commerce and Retail Media practice for marquee clients. You will set strategic vision, own P&L, and partner with global teams to drive growth, innovation, and measurable business impact.

You will define an integrated strategy across marketplaces, quick commerce, and emerging networks, while mentoring a high‑performing team and delivering client value with data‑driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital media, or e-commerce, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong hands-on expertise across E-Commerce and Retail Media platforms.
• Proven experience owning P&L and driving profitable growth.
• Track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
• Experience working with large enterprise clients and FMCG / Beauty / Retail brands preferred.
• Strong data, analytics, and performance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the E-Commerce strategy and roadmap across marketplaces, retail media, and quick commerce for a set of key clients.
• Partner with senior client stakeholders to drive long-term growth, innovation, and business impact.
• Stay ahead of industry trends across Retail Media Networks, automation, AI, and platform evolution, translating them into scalable solutions.
• Identify emerging opportunities across platforms, formats, and technologies.
• Demonstrate thought leadership by developing and presenting client industry/market research findings, e-commerce search trends, e-commerce growth areas, new models to consider and relevant case studies.
