Job summary

VRI Crew in Manila is seeking a Head of Technology to lead the transition from services-led AI delivery to a repeatable product and platform organization. This hands-on senior role will define engineering strategy and build a capable team while ensuring enterprise AI platforms evolve into a cohesive operating system.

The position requires strong technical leadership, architecture review skills, and experience turning AI-native ambition into disciplined execution.

Qualifications

• Experience leading AI/ML product or platform teams.
• Ability to review architecture and influence engineering decisions.
• Strong grasp of secure, scalable software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy across client delivery, internal tooling, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Hire, manage, and develop the core technical team (Senior Full Stack Developer, Engineer in Test, Solutions Architect, Technical Project Manager).
• Set architecture standards for AI-native development: API-first design, test-driven development, production observability.
• Define the technical roadmap and oversee major architecture decisions and PRs.
