Fil-American Hardware Co., Inc. is seeking a Business Development Officer with experience in hardware distribution, construction materials, building supplies, or related industries to expand our customer and distribution network.

Key responsibilities include acquiring new customers and accounts, maintaining relationships, and promoting hardware products. Fieldwork and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of sales/business development experience, preferably in hardware distribution or construction-related products.
• Experience handling dealers, distributors, hardware stores, contractors, or wholesale accounts is highly preferred.
• Candidates with an existing network of hardware dealers, distributors, contractors or retail accounts are highly encouraged.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and acquire new customers, dealers, distributors, retailers, and project accounts
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
• Promote and sell the Company's hardware products
• Conduct customer visits, prospecting, and market development activities and market analysis
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and business opportunities
• Achieve assigned sales targets and prepare regular sales reports
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, and Accounting to ensure smooth customer transactions
