The position requires hands-on leadership of five direct reports and a strong command of BIR, SEC, and PFRS standards, ensuring timely, accurate financial results and strategic support for the CEO.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in an accounting or finance management role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax law, BIR compliance.
• Hands-on experience managing a small team.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy of all books of accounts; no errors, no shortcuts.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual cash flow reports with zero tolerance for late submissions.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance — BIR, SEC, HLURB/DHSUD, and all applicable government agencies.
• Supervise and develop five direct reports across accounting and credit & collection functions.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable cycles end-to-end, coordinating with procurement and operations.
• Handle tax filings, audit preparation, and liaison with external auditors and government examiners.
• Review and sign off on journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statements monthly.
• Monitor credit exposures and collection performance; flag risk to the CEO when warranted.
• Support the CEO with financial data for business planning and decision-making.
