Job summary

J.C. Piñon Construction Inc. in Quezon City is seeking an experienced finance leader to head the company’s finance and accounting operations.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in management, with a background in construction or related industries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience in the construction, engineering, or infrastructure industry is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), taxation, BIR regulations, and financial management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Finance and Accounting Department.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions.
  • Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, government agencies, and financial institutions.
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Monitor project costs, profitability, and financial performance for construction projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports.
