Job summary

Norima Consulting Inc. seeks a Guidewire Business Analyst to support configuration, implementation, and transformation across insurance environments.

You will bridge business stakeholders and delivery teams, translating rules into Guidewire-aligned specifications for successful implementations. Strong Guidewire BA expertise, knowledge of PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter, and collaboration with client teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of business analysis experience with Guidewire implementations or in insurance technology.
• Functional understanding of at least one Guidewire product — PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
• Knowledge of P&C insurance operations including policy lifecycle, claims handling, or billing processes.
• Ability to translate complex insurance requirements into structured, testable specifications.
• Experience facilitating requirements workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency using Jira, Confluence or similar collaboration tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication across technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements across Guidewire modules.
• Translate business rules and regulatory needs into Guidewire-aligned specifications and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders to analyze as-is processes and define future configurations.
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to ensure feasibility and alignment with platform capabilities.
• Document product model requirements including lines of business, coverages, terms, and rating logic.
• Support configuration and validation of Guidewire screens, workflows, and rules with the development team.
• Contribute to data mapping and integration specifications with third-party systems.
• Develop functional documentation and traceability matrices; support data migration validation.
• Coordinate and support UAT, prepare test scenarios, and manage defect triage.
• Assist in change management activities including training materials and go-live support.
