Job summary

Norima Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst to support configuration, implementation, and transformation engagements across insurance environments.

You will translate business requirements into Guidewire-aligned specifications and work with delivery teams to drive successful implementations. A strong candidate will understand Guidewire product models, configuration options, and platform capabilities, with certifications actively highlighted in client engagements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of business analysis experience with Guidewire exposure
• Functional understanding of at least one Guidewire product: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter
• Working knowledge of P&C insurance operations including policy lifecycle, claims handling, or billing processes
• Ability to translate complex insurance rules into structured, testable requirements
• Experience facilitating requirements workshops with senior stakeholders
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
• Strong written and verbal communication across technical and business audiences

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate requirements from subject matter experts and product owners across Guidewire modules
• Translate insurance rules into Guidewire-aligned specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate workshops to analyze current-state processes and define future-state configurations
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to ensure feasibility and alignment with platform capabilities
• Document product model requirements including lines of business, coverages, and forms logic
• Support configuration and validation of Guidewire screens, workflows, and business rules
• Contribute to integration requirements including data mapping and third-party interfaces
• Develop and maintain functional documentation and traceability matrices
• Support data migration activities and validation criteria
• Coordinate UAT and manage defect triage
• Contribute to change management activities including training and go-live support
