Job summary

Norima Consulting Inc. seeks an experienced Guidewire Developer to deliver configuration, integration, and development work across insurance transformation engagements.

You will work directly within client environments to implement, extend, and optimize Guidewire’s suite of products — helping insurers modernize their core policy, billing, and claims operations. Guidewire certifications are a strong differentiator and are highlighted in client engagements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Guidewire development or implementation experience.
• Proficiency in Gosu scripting and Guidewire configuration and product model development.
• Experience with at least one: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter in a live implementation or upgrade.
• Familiarity with REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON integration patterns.
• Ability to read and contribute to technical design docs and solution architecture.
• Strong communication skills for client-facing delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and develop solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.
• Build and maintain integrations between Guidewire and third-party systems.
• Develop and extend Guidewire using Gosu scripting and product model customization.
• Support Guidewire Cloud Platform deployments and environment management.
• Collaborate with analysts and architects to translate requirements into configurations and custom development.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation.
