Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Guest Laundry location, ensuring quality standards and meeting customer expectations.
• Effectively and efficiently manage workflow of the department.
• Ensure production schedules allow optimal allocation for processing different products.
• Control quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of movement and storage of products/units.
• Operate all department equipment and report malfunctions.
• Process guest requests for laundry, dry-cleaning, and pressing according to specs.
• Handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction according to procedures.
• Manage and control financial resources for optimal utilization.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Guest Laundry Team.

About the role

The Guest Laundry Manager is responsible and accountable for all production functions and for the leadership, strategic planning, resource planning and direction setting in respect of productivity and factory operations including but not limited to the collection, receiving, sorting, mending/repairing, washing, drying, pressing, folding, packing of Guest items processed in the production and related processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Guest Laundry location, ensuring quality standards and meeting customer expectations
• Effectively and efficiently manage workflow of the department
• Ensure that production schedules allow optimal allocation for processing different products throughout the production processes
• Manage, monitor, and control the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of products/units
• Operate all department equipment as necessary and report malfunctions
• Document and process guest requests for laundry, dry-cleaning, and pressing of garments, hotel uniforms, and designated management garments according to departmental specifications
• Handle guest complaints by following established procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Manage and control financial resources to ensure optimal utilization
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Guest Laundry Team

About you

• At least High School graduate
• Five (5) years minimum operations and personnel experience in Guest Laundry and Valet services or Hospitality services industries with a proven track record in quality, accuracy and attention to detail
