Job Summary: A Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items are cleaned, folded, and distributed according to established standards. The role includes handling laundry equipment, operating washers and dryers, managing laundry supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to type, color, and fabric.
• Operate laundry equipment including washing machines, dryers, and steam irons.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Monitor inventory levels of detergents, fabrics, and other laundry supplies.
• Inspect and sort items for damages or stains before washing.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of laundry equipment.
• Ensure all items are properly labeled and stored.
• Handle customer laundry requests, ensuring quality and satisfaction.
• Follow safety procedures and handle chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of laundry services for inventory and billing purposes.
