Job summary

optiBPO is hiring an Assistant Accountant to perform transactional accounting tasks, including journal entries, accounts payable, and month-end close processes. You will support the Finance Manager and team to maintain accurate financial records for UK shift operations while working remotely from the Philippines.

The role requires meticulous, fast work, strong communication skills, and a solid grasp of the full finance cycle.

Qualifications

• MS365 is non-negotiable.
• Experience with Sage 50 is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of the full finance cycle: AP, AR, credit control, reconciliations, reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monthly close and journals processing.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
• Bank reconciliations and monthly reporting.
• Support to Finance Manager and wider team.
