Job summary

CIP Terra Technologies is seeking a Grid Engineer (Manager) in Metro Manila to lead grid connectivity strategy for renewable energy projects. You will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to assess feasibility, manage interconnection processes, and ensure regulatory compliance for timely delivery.

The role focuses on de-risking projects, managing high-voltage infrastructure, and aligning grid strategy with project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer or equivalent preferred.
• 8–10 years in energy/electric industry with grid experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage grid connection assessment, strategy, and route identification for renewables.
• Liaise with NGCP; oversee SIS, feasibility, and interconnection applications.
• Develop engineering for high-voltage installations and substations with safety standards.
• Support project development from feasibility to commissioning.
• Coordinate with engineering, permitting, and commercial teams to align grid strategy with timelines.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the manager.
