Job summary

Security Bank Corporation is seeking an Auxiliary Governance Officer to act as a conduit between the group and governance offices to ensure timely regulatory and internal control compliance.

You will monitor action plans, coordinate audits (BSP, SEC, external), and collaborate on IT risk, data privacy, and business continuity. The role requires 2–3 years in governance or compliance within banking.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in governance, compliance, or risk.
• Basic understanding of banking processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Banking Operations, Loans, Credit Card, Leasing, Deposits or Investments is preferred.
• Able to prepare assessment reports, presentations, and findings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage action plans for issues in RCSAs, risk assessments, audit findings, and test results.
• Serve as liaison for internal and external audits (BSP, SEC, external auditors) with timely submissions.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Audit and Risk Management on control, IT risk, information security, and data privacy.
• Act as BCP representative, planning and testing with vendors to ensure contingency measures.
• Generate reports and assessment findings using ORM and Compliance Tools for governance offices.
• Disseminate information and train the group on updated regulatory circulars and policies.
• Represent the group in governance-related internal or external meetings.
