Job summary

Northpoint Development Bank, Inc. (Laguna) seeks a compliance-focused professional to oversee regulatory issuances, implement compliance strategies, and serve as the bank's official representative before regulatory bodies.

You will monitor BSP Circulars and other agency issuances, conduct risk assessments, prepare reports, and ensure documents are endorsed to the BSP. Willingness to relocate to San Pedro, Laguna is preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree in a related field (Law, Business Administration, Accountancy, Banking & Finance).
• 2–5 years of experience in BSP compliances and regulations in the banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor new regulatory issuances (BSP Circulars, letters, Memoranda) and other regulators.
• Assist with implementation of compliance and risk assessment strategies.
• Act as the official representative before regulatory bodies and for compliance discussions.
• Check for sufficiency of documents before endorsement to BSP.
• Review, assess and perform compliance testing in line with laws and regulations.
• Prepare reports on Crimes and Losses and submit to BSP.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/Board.

About the role

A compliance-focused position in the banking industry responsible for monitoring regulatory issuances, implementing compliance strategies, and serving as the official company representative before regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor new regulatory issuances such as Circulars, Circular letters and Memorandum issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and other regulatory bodies such as Anti-Money Laundering Council, Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation, Securities and Exchange Commission and Insurance Commission

• Assist with the implementation of compliance and risk assessment strategies

• Act as the official representative of the company before any regulatory body and for any discussion and/or consultation regarding compliance-related issues

• Check for sufficiency of all documents and reports prior to their endorsement to the BSP

• Review, assess and perform compliance testing in compliance to laws, regulations and other regulatory requirements

• Prepare reports on Crimes and Losses and undertake its submission to the BSP

• Perform other functions as directed by the management and/or by the Board of Directors from time to time

About you

• College degree, preferably in the area of Law, Business Administration, Accountancy, Banking and Finance or any related field

• 2-5 years experience in the field of Banking Industry handling BSP compliances and regulations

• Willing to start ASAP and relocate in San Pedro, Laguna is an advantage
