Job summary

Crawford & Company in Manila is seeking a Transition Manager to lead the migration of process- and knowledge-based work into the Global Business Services Center (GBSC), ensuring a seamless, governed, value-driven transition.

The role covers end-to-end migration lifecycle from opportunity assessment and transition planning to knowledge transfer, go-live, stabilization, and BAU handover, with a focus on governance, readiness, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• A postgraduate qualification in Business, Operations, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with the majority gained within a BPO, Shared Services, or Global Business Services (GBS) environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of transition or migration management experience, with direct accountability for leading end-to-end process and/or knowledge-based role transitions.
• Experience working within a structured transition or PMO framework, including governance processes, stage-gate reviews, readiness assessments, and functional sign-off requirements.
• Demonstrated success in building, scaling, or enhancing transition and migration capabilities across the organization.
• PMP certification (or currently pursuing) desired; change-management certifications (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transition Leadership & Accountability: Serve as the single accountable owner for assigned transitions, overseeing strategy, scope, timeline, governance, and success criteria.
• Opportunity Assessment & Feasibility: Conduct process assessments and offshoring feasibility analyses; translate opportunities into transition charters.
• Governance & Stage-Gate Control: Chair Steering Committees and Transition Working Groups; manage go-live readiness reviews.
• Project & PMO Discipline: Maintain the integrated project plan, RAID log, trackers, and documentation; produce weekly dashboards.
• Knowledge Transfer & Readiness: Lead knowledge transfer activities, including walkthroughs, shadowing, and competency validation.
• Business Case & Benefits Realization: Validate business cases with Finance; track benefits from go-live through stabilization.
• Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain stakeholder register and change management plan; drive adoption activities.
• Data, Privacy, Security & Compliance Readiness: Ensure data classification, privacy, access control, security, and regulatory assessments.
• Capability Building & Thought Leadership: Build GBSC migration capability; mentor Transition PMs and client managers.
