Job summary

H&M Group in Manila seeks a Trade & Customs Specialist to manage import/export operations, prepare customs documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance across goods movements. You will coordinate with brokers, forwarders, and authorities to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Awareness of international trade and customs laws (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience in operational customs and logistics.
• Proficiency in trade management systems and documentation tools.
• Strong organisational skills to manage shipment documentation effectively.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure compliance with trade and legal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export operations, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods.
• Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation and declarations.
• Manage import and export permits, licenses, and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations and monitor regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, transport providers, and authorities.
• Maintain and update local customs SOPs and records, support audits.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve trade and customs processes.
