Job summary

H&M Group is seeking a Trade & Customs Specialist to ensure smooth and compliant international trade operations. You’ll manage documentation, support customs clearance, and help maintain regulatory compliance across all movements of goods.

Your main responsibilities will include: • Manage import and export operations, ensuring timely and compliant movement of commercial and non-commercial goods, including monitoring shipments and coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Awareness of international trade and customs laws (preferred).
• Experience in customs and logistics operations.
• Proficiency with trade management systems and documentation tools.
• Strong organisation to manage shipment documentation.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export operations with timely, compliant movement of goods.
• Prepare, review, and submit customs documents and declarations.
• Handle permits, licenses, and regulatory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and monitor changes.
• Coordinate with brokers, forwarders, transport providers, and authorities.
• Maintain local customs SOPs and support audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve trade processes and reduce delays.
