Job summary

EY GLOBAL DELIVERY SERVICES (GDS) PHILIPPINES is establishing a Global Classification Center of Excellence to classify imports/exports. The staff will analyze product characteristics, assign HTS and ECN numbers, and work with EY Global Trade resources on classifications for multiple countries.

Responsibilities include handling client classification requests, processing documentation, and delivering accurate HTS/ECN outputs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of chemistry, biology, chemical engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in biotechnology, medical technology and/or pharmaceutical industries is desirable.
• Proficiency with MS Windows, word processing, database and spreadsheet software; strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage a workload of classification assignments from clients.
• Execute key processes and documentation to effectively and timely manage classifications.
• Communicate with clients regarding products, information needed, and classification status.
• Provide insight, connectedness and responsiveness to client points of contact while understanding their products.
• Make informed decisions in complex and judgmental areas.
