Job summary

CORD Mechanical Ltd is seeking an International Buyer to manage sourcing for the UK and Europe, coordinating the full procurement cycle from requests to delivery. The role requires ensuring complete quotations, sound cost decisions, and proactive supplier management while maintaining accurate records.

The position is remote, with work-from-home setup and a schedule aligned to Perth or Manila time. Candidates should have strong English, multi-currency negotiation experience, and ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate, diploma or degree in procurement or related field.
• At least three years' procurement experience incl RFQs and PO tracking.
• Experience negotiating multi-currency pricing and total landed cost.
• Experience with international suppliers and time-zone work.
• Familiar with Incoterms, freight and customs docs.
• ERP experience; MS Dynamics or Xero preferred.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English with UK/EU/Aus stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan procurement and international sourcing across UK/Europe.
• Issue RFQs, manage responses, and compare quotations.
• Prepare and validate purchase orders with all details.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight providers and internal teams.
• Track orders and manage delivery issues.
• Escalate cost, quality or delivery risks promptly.
• Maintain audit trail of procurement activity.
