Johnson & Johnson DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Manager, Strategic Sourcing, located in Manila, Philippines. The role leads the regional Global Services Procurement team, guiding sourcing events, contract negotiation, and supplier management to align with business strategy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree is required.
• MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
• 6-8 years of Procurement, Finance, or other relevant business experience.
• Experience leading individual contributors and/or supervisors in a matrixed service-delivery environment is preferred.
• Fluency in English, written and oral, is required; fluency in another language relevant to the supported region is preferred.
• Requires up to 5% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of individual contributors and/or supervisors and conduct effective performance management, coaching, capability development, and succession planning.
• Oversee day-to-day Procurement Operations and Source-to-Contract services, including sourcing event management, negotiation of price and other contract terms, contract drafting and execution, and supplier onboarding.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to develop and execute strategies that improve profitability and competitive position using market intelligence and total-cost projections.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, data privacy, cybersecurity, quality expectations, and delegated authorities.
• Monitor service levels, cycle time, backlog, and stakeholder feedback; communicate root causes, risks and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvements in user and supplier experience and efficiency within the area of responsibility.
• Support automation and AI initiatives; gather business and data needs, integration points, and adoption requirements.
• Lead team readiness for process and technology changes through training and UAT; provide deployment support and post-go-live stabilization.
• Use structured problem solving and operational data to address recurring issues and identify automation opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers to align needs and expectations.
• Integrate Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decisions.
