Job summary

Viking Construction and Supplies seeks a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to support international projects. You will handle cost estimation, BOQ, budgeting, and cost control to ensure budget adherence while maintaining quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in QS or related field with 3+ years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and QS software, and willingness to travel overseas. Competitive package and career growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
3+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management.
Experience in large-scale or international projects is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and cost-estimating software.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and specs.
Develop project budgets, tender documents, and BOQ.
Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare cost evaluations.
Monitor project expenditures and maintain cost control throughout the lifecycle.
Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
Review contracts and ensure contractual compliance.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients on costs.
Conduct site inspections and measurements when required.
Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and financial analyses for management.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality/safety.
