Sun Life Financial is seeking a procurement professional to manage high-volume sourcing, negotiate contracts, and ensure governance across Canadian, Corporate, and IT spend. The role requires strong stakeholder collaboration and advanced Excel skills to drive value and risk management.

The position emphasizes relationship management, negotiation strength, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering timely procurement solutions that align with governance standards.

Formación

• 3+ years sourcing/procurement experience.
• Experience leading sourcing initiatives, processes and deal management.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders to drive the process.
• Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty.
• Familiarity with vendor contract language and SAP Ariba.
• Understanding of procurement challenges and governance.

Responsabilidades

• Support and manage the sourcing process for high-volume, low-risk engagements.
• Lead clients through sourcing, including contract negotiations to execution.
• Assess and resolve procurement issues with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Apply project management concepts to sourcing planning and execution.
• Ensure governance processes are followed prior to final approval.
