Job summary

Manulife's Procurement Contracting team is seeking a licensed attorney to review, draft, and negotiate vendor agreements worldwide, collaborating with sourcing, legal, risk, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

JD or LLB graduate, or at least third year law student in good standing.
At least two years' experience in contract review, legal assessment and drafting.
Strong analytical, research and written communication skills with ability to negotiate contract language.

Responsibilities

Draft and review procurement contracts and related documents between Manulife and external parties.
Utilize and manage systems used during the procurement process.
Provide contractual and administrative support during procurement activities.
Assist with creating and maintaining standard procurement templates.
Coordinate with internal Sourcing partners, SMEs, and other business partners to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
Facilitate contract execution through signing tools and ensure signatories comply with internal policies.
Ensure adherence to company policies and documentation requirements.
Perform legal research to support contractual activities.
