Job summary

White & Case LLP's Global Operating Center in Manila is seeking a People Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional HRIS and People systems initiatives from initiation through implementation and closure. You will translate people strategy priorities into executable project plans while safeguarding employee data.

You will collaborate with People leaders, Technology partners, vendors and legal teams to manage scope, budgets and timelines, ensure governance, and drive measurable outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management or related field preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification strongly preferred; HRIS or Workday certification is an advantage.
• 7+ years of experience managing projects, including People or People systems initiatives, with enterprise scope.
• Hands-on experience delivering HRIS/HCM projects (e.g., Workday) and payroll/benefits/learning/times management, or People data and reporting initiatives is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects with multiple People and technical teams, vendors, budgets, risks and dependencies.
• Experience working within a PMO or structured project governance environment is preferred.
• Experience delivering projects for professional services, financial services, legal services, or another complex global organization is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex People function and People systems projects from initiation to closure.
• Manage projects across HRIS/HCM platforms, benefits systems, talent acquisition and learning tech, and reporting initiatives.
• Define project objectives, scope, governance, and delivery expectations with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into structured project plans, schedules and workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including payroll, information security, data/analytics, procurement and vendors.
• Establish governance, escalation, and stakeholder engagement models.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, resources, vendor commitments and financial performance.
• Identify risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies; provide clear recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, retention, and local employment law requirements.
• Provide timely reporting on status, outcomes, risks, decisions and milestones.
• Support operational readiness, knowledge transfer, and transition to support teams.
