Job summary

Merck Gruppe is seeking a Senior Global Payroll Leader to drive strategic process development across the Global Payroll Process of HR/Employee Services. You will own the design of tools, processes, and data structures within the GPO Payroll domain and act as a key strategic partner aligning senior stakeholders across regions.

You will lead end-to-end payroll transformations, manage cross-functional dependencies, and guide virtual teams to deliver measurable improvements in global payroll

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in global payroll within a GBS or corporate setting.
• End-to-end project management experience with large-scale transformations.
• 5+ years leading international/virtual teams and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in written and spoken English for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic process development across the Global Payroll Process of HR/Employee Services.
• Lead initiatives to simplify, harmonize, standardize, document, and measure performance.
• Own design and development of tools, processes, and data structures within the GPO Payroll domain.
