Job summary

Arup's Global Finance Shared Service team seeks a Payroll Assistant to deliver accurate, timely payroll for Arup members while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Based in our Payroll Shared Service Centre, you will support international assignees, resolve payroll queries, and contribute to payroll process improvements in a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong payroll processing experience.
• Solid Excel skills and data accuracy.
• Understanding of payroll legislation and controls.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Collating and validating monthly pay changes for submission to our global payroll vendor.
• Helping ensure Arup members are paid accurately and on time.
• Supporting and responding to payroll queries from members.
• Reviewing and understanding legislative changes.
• Processing statutory payments to tax authorities and non-statutory payments where applicable.
• Supporting International Assignee payroll obligations.
• Reconciling and posting payroll journals.
• Reconciling monthly payroll loan accounts and helping resolve queries.
• Supporting internal and external audit requirements.
• Assisting with updating payroll process documentation.
