Global Payments Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting team and help shape the future of global commerce.

You will review daily accounting transactions with accuracy and internal controls, utilize Ariba, Oracle Fusion and Certify, prepare reconciliations and journal entries, manage accounts payable activities, and support reporting, audits, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years combined work experience in accounts payable, general accounting, and/or audit.
• Skilled in using accounting software/applications; Proficient in MS Excel.
• Fluent in English – as used in effective verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Review and process daily accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy, validity, and complete supporting documentation while applying internal controls.
• Utilize accounting systems (e.g., Ariba, Oracle Fusion, Certify) and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare reconciliations, analyses, journal entries, and support month-end close activities in line with global timelines.
• Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, payment coordination with Treasury, and handling related transactions (payroll and compensation, fixed assets, prepayments, intercompany).
• Support reporting, audits, and process improvements by maintaining organized records, preparing reports, and assisting with documentation and projects.
