Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Settlement team in the Philippines. You will maintain accurate financial records, support month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure regulatory compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

You'll analyze discrepancies, prepare financial statements and management reports, and help drive process improvements and automation in a fast-paced, confidential environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Accountancy with 2+ years of relevant experience in reconciliation, audit or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, organization and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and regulatory requirements, including journal entries and GL reconciliation.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with timely reporting and discrepancy resolution.
• Prepare financial statements, reports and management summaries with accounting policy alignment.
• Drive process improvements and automation, and assist with audits and internal controls.
