Job summary

Platintel in Manila is seeking a Team Leader to oversee three Global Operations Centre agents, manage day-to-day workflow, triage incidents, and serve as a conduit between frontline staff and senior management.

This role follows a Wednesday-to-Sunday roster with weekend coverage, on-site collaboration, roster management, and escalation of complex issues to Retrieval Managers while supporting Australian client operations.

Qualifications

• Leadership as Team Leader or similar with Australian client experience.
• Background in travel booking or travel management preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult conversations.
• Excellent problem-solving and triage under pressure.
• High-level written and verbal communication across remote platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact and first-line escalation for three GOC Agents.
• Coordinate and optimize daily workloads across merged brand lines.
• Triage incidents and administrative challenges; resolve at team level when possible.
• Escalate complex issues to Retrieval Managers or senior leadership as needed.
• Manage rosters, leave requests, and daily shift handovers.
