Lean Solutions Group in the Philippines is seeking a Logistics Coordinator – Ocean & Air Import to support international freight operations. This role requires handling high-volume shipments, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, International Logistics, Ocean Import, Air Import, Ocean Export, SCM, or Transportation Operations.
• Prior experience handling U.S. Air Import shipments is strongly preferred/required based on assignment.
• General understanding of international freight forwarding, import processes, shipment documentation, and transportation operations.
• Familiarity with Ocean and/or Air Import processes: booking, tracking, cargo release, customs docs, delivery coordination.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to process high volumes of operational transactions accurately.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple shipments.
• Strong communication and coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office apps, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to learn new systems and SOPs quickly in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ocean Import and Air Import operational tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and SOP compliance.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, airlines, truckers, customers, and internal teams.
• Confirm bookings and coordinate shipment arrangements with agents and carriers.
• Monitor milestones (ETA/ETD, vessel schedules, flight details, cargo availability, release status).
• Track shipments through carrier websites, airline portals, and TMS/CargoWise.
• Prepare and distribute Arrival Notices within SLAs.
• Provide required shipment documents to CHB for customs clearance.
• Communicate cargo release status and updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate shipments and dispatch U.S. truckers for pickups/deliveries.
• Manage THC payments and verify invoices and freight charges.
