Job summary
CATL in the Philippines is seeking a qualified engineer to collect and analyze technical requirements for overseas energy storage projects, and to design ESS solutions based on client needs.
You will communicate with clients, prepare bidding documents, identify risks, negotiate technical agreements, and help translate local market needs into competitive product demands, leveraging your experience in microgrid systems and grid-forming PCS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering fields such as electrical engineering, power electronics or renewable energy.
- Experience with renewable energy generation or energy storage system development.
- Experience in microgrid ESS development; familiarity with grid-forming PCS (Power Conversion System).
- Experience with overseas energy projects.
- 5+ years in energy projects preferred.
- Strong English reading/writing/listening skills.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze technical requirements for overseas ESS projects.
- Communicate with clients and design ESS solutions based on client needs; prepare bidding documents.
- Identify technical risks and resolve system issues during project implementation.
- Prepare and negotiate technical agreements.
- Maintain client relationships and explore client needs and information.
- Transform local market requirements into competitive product demands.
