Job summary

Datawords Philippines is seeking a Media Reputation Specialist to monitor online news and social conversations about clients, identify reputational risks, and deliver insightful reports. You will collaborate with the Paris team, manage data quality, and support crisis communications while working in a hybrid setup in Makati and Cebu.

The role requires 3+ years in crisis or reputation management, strong English, and expertise with Sprinklr or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• “More than 3 years of experience in crisis management, media monitoring, reputation management, or public relations.”
• “At least 2 years of experience in client-facing roles involving crisis management, reputation management, media monitoring, or related communications functions.”
• “Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.”
• “Proven experience with media monitoring platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Onclusive, Storyclash, etc).”
• “Advanced proficiency in Boolean query development and Sprinklr usage for monitoring, analysis and reporting.”
• “Advanced understanding of reputation management, media analysis, reporting, and sentiment evaluation methodologies.”
• “Excellent report writing skills, with clear, actionable insights.”
• “Familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.”
• “Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends and holidays.”
• “Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.”

Responsibilities

• Monitor online news and social media about the client and competitors.
• Provide timely alerts on potential reputational risks.
• Create reports, dashboards, and listening frameworks for client insights.
• Handle crisis management requests and client reporting.
• Maintain accuracy and organization of media monitoring data.
• Deliver end-of-day listening activity reports and support shift handovers.
• Gather data for monthly reputation analyses and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Paris Reputation Management Team.
• Regularly update internal trackers with current data.
• Offer feedback on trainee performance and development.
