Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our Manila team. You will produce models and drawings from design calculations, and review layouts for materials handling and process plants.

The role requires adherence to CAD procedures and standards, with attention to schedules and budgets. Ideal candidates hold a university degree in Engineering Design Drafting or have 3+ years of Mechanical Design/Drafting experience and strong plant layout proficiency.

Qualifications

University degree in Engineering Design Drafting or 3+ years of Mechanical Design/Drafting experience.
Proficiency in design layout and detailing of materials handling and process plants.
Understanding of fabrication and construction techniques in materials handling industry.

Responsibilities

Produce Lycopodium and industry-standard models and design drawings from engineer calculations and sketches.
Appraise the layout and detailing of materials handling and mine plant design.
Produce design drawings compliant with company CAD procedures and standards.
Ensure project schedules and man-hour budgets are met for assigned work.
Follow company standards and ensure drawings comply with Australian and International Standards.
