Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is seeking a Piping Designer to join our Manila team. You will produce design drawings and models from engineers’ calculations, ensure compliance with Australian and international standards, and file project documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a University Degree in Engineering Design Drafting or has 3+ years in a similar role, with proficiency in OpenPlant Modeller and PID, and experience in processing plants. Strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering Design Drafting or 3+ years experience in a similar role with relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in the design layout and detailing of chemical, pharmaceutical or refinery process plants.
• Experience in OpenPlant Modeller and PID.
• Experience in gold, base metals and iron ore is advantageous.
• Proven time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce company and industry standard models and design drawings from design engineer calculations and sketches.
• Follow and implement all relevant company standards and procedures and ensure design drawings comply with all relevant Australian and International Standards.
• Register and file all relevant project documentation in accordance to the company approved procedures.
• Review vendor drawings and design data.
• Ensure project design data is disseminated to other project team members in a timely manner.
