Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is seeking an Investment Analyst to deliver high-quality investment research, market intelligence, and actionable recommendations to support portfolio management, trading, and decision-making across local and global markets.

The role conducts macroeconomic, industry, sector, company, and credit analysis, identifying opportunities and risks to drive portfolio performance and growth of assets under management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics, or statistics.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or related postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• Experience in financial services, asset management, wealth management, banking, investment banking, equity research, fixed income research, corporate finance, or investment management.
• Exposure to equities, fixed income, multi-asset investing, and investment products is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality research on macroeconomic trends, markets, industries, sectors, companies, and credit opportunities with actionable investment recommendations.
• Develop and communicate investment views, market outlooks, and research findings through reports, presentations, and client briefings.
• Perform due diligence on investment opportunities and client transactions; ensure compliance and alignment with client needs.
• Prepare governance, client, and regulatory deliverables, including Investment Committee materials and KIIDS disclosures.
• Monitor market developments and emerging risks; contribute to portfolio positioning and asset allocation discussions.
