Job description

The Global Logistics Specialist is responsible for procurement activities related to indirect spend, logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations. The role requires strong procurement and negotiation capabilities, with the ability to manage end-to-end transportation activities and address operational issues effectively.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Procurement / Purchasing, Operations Management and Any related field

• Professional certification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Logistics (e.g., CIPS, CSCP, CPSM) is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, transportation, or supply chain, preferably in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a multinational environment.

Specific Skills

• Strong strategic sourcing and procurement skills, particularly in logistics, transportation, and supply chain services.

• Proficiency in supplier sourcing, competitive bidding, cost analysis, rate benchmarking, contract negotiation, and vendor performance management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze logistics spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive supply chain efficiencies.
