Job summary

DHL Express in the Philippines seeks an experienced operations supervisor to oversee daily ground and area activities, ensuring shipments conform to DHL procedures and transit targets. You will organize shifts, manage inbound/outbound processes, and coordinate across customers and partners to sustain service levels.

Ideal candidates bring 4–5 years in logistics/transport, English proficiency, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required with relevant certifications.
• Line Trainer, First Aid, and IATA Dangerous Goods Acceptance certifications preferred.
• Minimum 4–5 years of operations experience in logistics, transportation, aviation, or supply chain.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong knowledge of ground operations, safety, quality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily ground and area operations to ensure shipments enter/exit in compliance with procedures and transit time standards.
• Organize shift schedules and staffing levels to meet operational requirements and service demands.
• Ensure incoming shipments are recovered, inspected, and processed efficiently.
• Manage receipt and dispatch of outbound shipments for timely departure and uplift.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, airlines, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and service quality.
