Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Global Finance in Manila, Philippines seeks a skilled Intercompany Accountant to manage daily Intercompany Accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting across regions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, uphold SOX controls, and support audits while implementing worldwide policies and process improvements that drive efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business subject area.
• Basic skill in using Microsoft tools including MS Teams.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Remarkable academic track record and/or achievement.
• Open to new insights and can develop effective ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Implement intercompany accounting processes and daily operations for intercompany accounting.
• Close financial periods on schedule per closing calendar, with SLA, while complying with SOX requirements.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.
• Provide on-the-job training for new team members and BPO partners.
• Support auditors and legal authorities with required activities.
• Enforce worldwide policies and identify compliance risks with solutions.
• Maintain strong internal controls for audit readiness.
