Mandaue Foam Industries, Inc. is seeking an Accounting – Imported Purchasing Officer to manage accounting for imported purchases, ensuring accurate records and timely processing of expenses.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields, strong Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate with purchasing, finance, logistics, and customs brokers. Detail-oriented and deadline-driven professionals are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and documentation.
• Able to handle multiple transactions and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor accounting transactions related to imported purchases.
• Review and verify importation documents, invoices, purchase orders, and payment records.
• Record and reconcile import-related costs, including freight, duties, taxes, and other charges.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, suppliers, and customs brokers regarding import transactions.
• Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely settlement of supplier and import-related accounts.
• Assist in the reconciliation of supplier statements and importation-related accounts.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of imported purchases and supporting documents.
• Prepare reports and schedules related to imported purchases and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Perform other accounting and purchasing-related tasks as assigned.
